Documentation Required :

  • Covering letter explaining your motivation for this application,
  • Application form (download),
  • Up to date CV with a list of research projects,
  • Research project written in English or in French (download), maximum 8 pages in length including the references, a half page summary and two pages detailing the following headings:
    1. An appreciation of the host institution,
    2. The potential benefits to the candidates institution,
    3. How the project integrates within candidates career plan,
    4. The candidates role in the project,
    5. The feasibility of the project,
    6. A detailed budget for the sum requested,
  • A list of 3 to 5 publications that are most directly relevant to the project.
  • The written agreement of the person responsible for the host institution including the name of the individual who will directly supervise the applicant and from the candidates home institution.

Incomplete documentation will not be considered by the jury. The jury will not justify its decisions

One completed applications should be submitted by e-mail

Candidates applications must be sent by e-mail. All of the relevant documents should be placed in one single file in the following order: (1) motivation letter, (2) application form, (3) up to date CV with list of publications , (4) research project, (5) letters of support and of recommendation, (6) 3 to 5 key publications in the research field.

Completed documentation should be submitted before December 1st 2024. They will be examined by the Grants Committee of the Foundation. A decision will be given during February 2025. Interviews of selected candidates will be in Paris on Thursday January 30, 2025 and the physical presence of the candidate is mandatory.
Research projects will start in autumn 2025.
